Brandee's Wedding Card

http://iminhaven.blogspot.com/2012/08/butterfly-branch.html inspired today's card.  She has a wonderful blog over at "I'm in Haven" with beautiful cards.  I promptly scraplifted her version of butterflies on a branch for my niece's wedding card.  I used her wedding colors and hand wrote "congratulations" on the bottom.  All the papers are from Close to My Heart while the butterfly die cuts are from my Big Shot.

It's a beautiful day down here.  There is a bit of a chilly breeze (and I know all my Idaho peeps are giving me the raspberry, if not the finger) but they'll catch up soon....

The Mama Ducks are absent from the creek which means they're sitting on soon-to-be baby ducks--yay!!!  The Papa Ducks are grouping together.  I assume they're meeting in their support groups for how to deal with a crabby Mama Duck and soon-to-be baby ducks....

Huh.  That's about it.  Pretty boring day, actually.  Guess I should update my Grammar page, eh?

You can find Velya at Spoiled Rotten Spalon in Antioch, CA.  These are all Gelish nails and last 2-3 weeks, depending on how hard you are on your nails.  Rock star toes are the bomb.  I'll post with the different ones I've had since I started getting them done.

Back in the saddle again....

I have told myself that I will get back in the saddle and post about the happies and the sorries and the other thingies making up my life just to give you something to do besides housework.

So what have I been doing since October or whenever that last post was? 

An update on my life would include:

Finished teaching three classes at University of Phoenix, fourth is starting March 26.

Toured the USS Hornet in Alameda--fascinating!!! (Didn't see any ghosts, though.)

Went to Idaho for Christmas.
 

Went to my first Monster Truck thingy.

Ordered new windows for our house (THAT is exciting!)

Just celebrated our 23rd anniversary yesterday. 

Going to Monterey next weekend with QBFF!

It's going to be exciting but I promise I will start posting regularly. 

Especially if there is ironing to be done....
